Mom, daughter die in crash near Astoria
Police say at about 8:15 a.m., a sedan heading eastbound near milepost 94 lost control going around a corner and crossed the centerline. A pickup truck driving westbound struck the sedan on the passenger side.
Mother, 14-year-old daughter die in U.S. 30 crash near Astoria
She crossed the centerline, and a Kelso, Washington, man traveling west hit the passenger side of the 2009 Suzuki sedan she was driving.
