A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Thursday evening in Beaverton at Southwest Allen between Lombard and Hall. Police spokesman Mike Rowe said the driver, who stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, does not appear to have committed any crime. The pedestrian, identified as Ovidio Garcia-Chan, 52, was wearing dark clothing and trying to cross a street outside a crosswalk when he was struck.
