Clifton Minard killed in accident in Jackson Township PA.

An elderly man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Jackson Township, Lebanon County. The crash happened on SR 422 at Ramona Road around 9:50 a.m. State police say Clifton Minard, 83, of Myerstown was killed when his 2008 Toyota Prius collided with a 2008 Ford F-250 pickup truck. Police said Minard's car turned directly in front of the pickup and the two vehicles collided head-on. The driver of the truck, Kenneth Reist, 61, of Lebanon, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Police say it's not clear if Minard died while driving, which then caused the crash, or if he died as a result of the crash.
