Mary Kay Quenzler hit by car driven by Clarissa Fisher, taken to hospital.

A pedestrian was transported to the hospital Monday afternoon after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Upper Allen Township, according to township police. Mary Kay Quenzler, 67, of Mechanicsburg, was transported by ambulance to Holy Spirit Hospital with unspecified injuries. Quenzler was struck around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Geneva Drive at Paris Drive. Police said Clarissa Fisher, 51, also of Mechanicsburg, struck Quenzler with her vehicle. Police interviewed Fisher after the incident, which remains under investigation, said Matthew Woodruff, an officer with township police.
