Police say a woman was struck by a car and killed in East Goshen Township, Chester County.
Police say a woman was struck by a car and killed in East Goshen Township, Chester County. It happened around 11:30 Sunday morning on the 1600 block of Paoli Pike near East Goshen Park. Police say the victim was walking with a family member but decided to head back to their vehicle. As she was crossing the street, she was struck. Officers arrived to find a 76-year-old woman lying on the side of the road with serious injuries. She was taken to Paoli Hospital where she later died. The driver, an 83-year-old man, stopped at the scene and spoke with police. The victim's identity has not been released.

Our friend was killed because that stretch of Paoli Pike going through the East a Goshen part is not properly labeled. You must make Paoli Pike through the park, a 15 mile per hour so, a slow Dow traffic will ba safer to all pedestrians using the park. Hope you act on my suggestion.
