Car crashes into parked vehicles, 3 killed in resulting fire
Police say they had reports of a car driving at a high rate of speed in the area shortly before the crash.
They say one man was able to run from the burning vehicle, but that three other people inside couldn't escape the flames.

He said when the officer turned on his emergency lights, the car had already sped past and went nearly a mile before plowing in the parked cars and exploding in flames.
Township police Capt. Gregory Gottschall said the Freemansburg officer estimated the car was going 80 to 100 mph.

Coroner Zachary Lysek said dental records and DNA analysis will be used, but the process could take days and perhaps weeks for the victims to be positively identified.

While authorities haven't released the names of the victims, their friends and relatives have offered condolences on social media to a 29-year-old Easton woman and her boyfriend, a New Jersey resident.
