Tractor-Trailer Falls Into Embankment On Pa. Turnpike.

Chopper 3 was over the scene of the Pennsylvania Turnpike where a multi-vehicle accident involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer has blocked the right lane at mile post 345.2E.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike was the scene of a multi-vehicle accident involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer has blocked the right lane at mile post 345.2E. According to state police, a tractor trailer fell down an embankment around mile marker 345.2 in the eastbound direction. The right lane is currently blocked by the car. State Police say the tractor-trailer is leaking diesel fuel because the tank was fractured in the accident, but it will not be a major hazmat issue and they are currently working to stop the leak. Turnpike Maintenance, PSP and essential emergency units are all responding to the scene. Motorists traveling eastbound from Willow Grove exit 343 should stay alert for slow moving or stopped traffic. No injuries have been reported
