A SEPTA bus was reportedly involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle in the Frankford section of Philadelphia on Monday morning.

The crash happened at Torresdale Avenue and Bridge Street around 10:15 a.m. and involved a Route 84 bus and a minivan.

According to witnesses, the van ran a red light, striking the bus, which was heading north in the direction of Frankford Terminal.

SEPTA says 10 people were reportedly injured — six of them on the bus — but the injuries are not life-threatening. Three people were transported to St. Christopher’s, four to Aria Torresdale, two to Frankford and one to Hahnemann University Hospital.

While there should not be any major disruptions to Route 84 service, minor detours around the accident scene are possible.

SEPTA says any stranded passengers will be transferred to the next bus.
