The driver of the dump truck, a 24-year-old male who police did not identify, apparently told authorities he did not see Pavlo in time to stop his vehicle before the collision.
A Bucks County man died Friday morning when he was hit by a dump truck while working on his disabled SUV on the side of Street Road in Upper Southampton. Zinovi Pavlo, 58, of Warminster, was pronounced deceased at the scene just before 11 a.m.Pavlo was hit in a traffic lane as he tried to deal with his disabled Honda Pilot on the shoulder.
