Three people were injured Tuesday evening in a head-on crash in West Deer Township. Three people are injured when a minivan and an Infiniti collide head-on in West Deer Township on Tuesday evening. Authorities said a minivan and a car collided about 6:21 p.m. on Oak Road. An adult and a minor from the minivan and another adult from the car got out of the vehicles on their own and were taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, authorities said. Their injuries were described as "traumatic," but their conditions were not immediately available. Authorities said the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions at the time of the wreck. The crash remains under investigation. Oak Road was shut down between Spruce Avenue and Mueller Street for more than an hour while crews cleaned debris from the road and towed the vehicles.
