Woman in critical condition after being hit by car on crosswalk.

A 51-year-old woman was in critical condition Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Squirrel Hill. The woman was in a crosswalk near Shady and Wilkins avenues when she was hit by a car making a right-hand turn. The woman hit her head on the ground and was taken to a nearby hospital, sources said. The driver stopped at the scene. Police continue to investigate and have not said if charges will be filed.
