Hamby, 22, of Washington, was the only person in the vehicle when the crash happened at about 7:25 p.m., the coroner said.
A young woman who was killed Sunday in an SUV accident in Washington County has been identified as Myriam M. Hamby, 22, of Washington. She was riding alone in a sport utility vehicle on Lone Pine-Marianna Road in West Bethlehem around 7:25 p.m. when she crossed the center line and crashed into a tree. The vehicle caught fire. Ms. Hamby was pronounced deceased at 8:40 p.m. and was identified through dental records. An autopsy showed that she died from from blunt-force injuries. It is not known why the vehicle crossed the center line.
