Weather is to blame for an accident on Interstate 79 near Zelienople, where two good Samaritans came to a man's aid.

Chris Zona was traveling home to New Castle Tuesday. Just before 5 p.m., in a steady rain, Zona found himself upside down and crawling out of his driver's-side window.

Some drivers saw Zona's car go airborne.

A medical assistant and a nurse, in separate vehicles, both stopped to help.

Carney said they had been waiting more than 30 minutes for an ambulance to arrive.

While traffic merged to one lane, crews arrived to put out flares on the interstate.

A rear tire blew off Zona's car, landing about 30 yards away.
