It appears that the man was hit by a blue sedan that was pushed at him when struck by a white sport-utility vehicle, according to a witness, Anita Pitts, 61, of Pawtucket.

Media, 75, was struck in a parking lot at the corner of Dexter and Clay Streets, police said. An eyewitness said he was a regular customer of the laundromat nearby.
