Central Coventry fire truck damaged, another driver injured in crash
At 11:27 a.m. Tuesday, a Central Coventry Fire Department truck, going west on Tiogue Avenue (Route 3) with its lights and siren activated, was unable to avoid hitting a northbound vehicle that entered the intersection at Hopkins Hill Road, a news release from Coventry Police Col. John MacDonald said Tuesday afternoon.
