Funeral planned for teen girl killed in Georgetown County crash

Funeral arrangements are planned for this weekend for a teen girl who was tragically killed in a crash early Thursday morning.
Heaven LeeAnne Bowers,16, was killed in a single-vehicle crash at 7:30 am Thursday, January 22, on Ten Acre Road and Bigelow Drive near Andrews. Bowers was driving east on Ten Acre Road when the vehicle exited the road, crashed into a ditch, and overturned. She was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. Bowers was not wearing a seatbelt, according to authorities. Bowers' funeral services will held at 2 pm Sunday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church starting at 6 pm.
