Victim identified in fatal auto-pedestrian accident on King Street

Police are investigating the accident, but say no charges were filed against either motorist. 
Reginald Jenkins, 57, from Charleston, was killed after being hit by a car on King Street Saturday night. Jenkins died of blunt force trauma. He was one of two pedestrians hit in the incident at approximately 6:45 p.m. The collision knocked Jenkins into a lane of King Street where he was then hit by a second vehicle. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. The condition of the second pedestrian is not known at this time.
