The crash happened at 9:11 p.m. near Wisteria Street. Maj. Eric Watson said the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on U.S. 78 at a high rate of speed when it struck a vehicle that was stopped while waiting for another vehicle to turn left onto Wisteria Street.
One person is dead after a fatal wreck on Highway 78
According to the Charleston County Coroner, 19 year old Theodore Terrill died of blunt force trauma. Officials say that around 9:00 PM Terrill was on a motorcycle traveling east on Highway 78 in Ladson at a high rate of speed. Investigators say a car was stopped in the east bound lane of Highway 78 at Wisteria Road, as another car was turning into Wisteria.
