Funeral set for Lowcountry firefighter killed in Anderson Co. crash

Fallaw was a local firefighter and an active member of the community. He died Sunday night in a car accident.

He was the owner of Backyard Builders and attended the Cathedral of Praise. He was a volunteer Fireman with the Caromi Fire Department and the recipient of the 2014 Service Award. He was also an active volunteer with Toys For Tots and Pet Helpers.

He lost control of his 2000 Ford pickup and drove off the right side of the road, striking a tree. Keller said Fallaw was trapped and had to be removed from the vehicle before being taken to the hospital, where he died just after 10 p.m.

Randy's fellow firemen carried his casket onto a fire truck for the procession to the cemetery. Randy was a member of the Caromi Volunteer Fire Department for six years.
Randy Fallaw was driving on Interstate 85 when he swerved to miss hitting another car. He drove off the road and hit a tree, sustaining fatal injuries. Fallaw served with the Caromi Volunteer Fire Department for five years.
