Troopers: One killed in Rock Hill motorcycle crash

One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in York County Wednesday.

Motorcyclist killed in Rock Hill crash identified

Officials say 26-year-old Timothy Rodgers was riding a Suzuki GXR1000 without a helmet when they ran off the road and struck a mailbox, causing the motorcycle to flip. Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.

Just before 2 p.m. on Reservation Road, a motorcycle accident occured that took the life of one person. No other vehicles were involved. The road around the scene is closed while authorities investigate the accident.
