15-year-old girl killed after golf cart struck by vehicle in wrong lane in Rock Hill: PD

A 15-year-old girl is dead after she and five others in a golf cart were struck by a driver who was traveling in the wrong lane in a residential community Thursday night, police said. According to Rock Hill Police, officers responded to 911 calls regarding the accident involving a golf cart and a Honda CRV at 10:05 p.m. Thursday in the 4200 block of Laurel Creek Drive.

Investigators are still trying to piece together the horrific crash that killed Sullivan, a Rock Hill High School student, who would have been a sophomore when school started next month.

Investigators determined the boy, driving a Honda CRV, was going too fast above the speed limit which caused the fatal collision on Laurel Creek Drive on July 25, 2024.

Teen driver charged after girl killed in golf cart crash, police say

Chavis said the teen was petitioned to family court for this charge.
