One person dead following single-vehicle accident

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers say one person is dead after a  accident in Lexington County Saturday morning.

One person has died after an accident that occured early Saturday morning in Lexington County, South Carolina. Police report that a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling on Old Charleston Highway at Canal Street at approximately 6:50 AM when it ran off the road and rolled over. The driver, who was the only occupant in the truck, was ejected from the vehicle. Officials report that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate this accident. We will have more details on this tragic story as they emerge.
