81-year-old identified as man struck, killed on Millwood Avenue
Officer Jennifer Timmons with the Columbia Police Department said a man was crossing Millwood Avenue near Page Street when a driver struck the pedestrian around 3 p.m.
Jessie Taylor was crossing Millwood Avenue when he was hit by a car. He was transported to a local hospital and then pronounced dead. The driver was also injured and transported to the hospital, though his condition is not known and it is unknown if he will face charges.
