Troopers say the incident happened on SC-70 and Shillings Bridge Road in Orangeburg, just after 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of a 1988 Chevy Pickup wassouthbound on Shillings Bridge Road when they made a turn on SC-70, at which point the driver of a 2013 Honda struck the truck. The pickup driver died at the scene, while the the 29-year-old driver was brought to the hospital with injuries that are thought to be non-life-threatening.
