An airman based at Shaw Air Force Base has been killed in a motorcycle crash outside the base. Shaw Air Force Base says a Team Shaw Airman died Wednesday morning in a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 378 near the Sumter gate. The victim's name has not been released yet. The crash occurred at about 7:14 a.m.
