Man dies a week after lawnmower crash in Greenwood Co.

The Greenwood County Coroner’s Office said 76-year-old John Johnson was on a riding lawnmower headed southbound on Deadfall Road when he was hit from behind by another vehicle.

Lawnmower is hit by pickup truck, killing SC man, officials say

John Johnson, a 76-year-old Abbeville resident, died at Greenville Memorial Hospital on Oct. 27, more than a week after the accident, according to Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox.
