According to Senior Deputy Coroner Shelton England with the Greenville County Coroner's Office, Sloan was driving a Dodge Charger sedan southbound in the northbound lane of Interstate 185 near mile marker 10 when the car collided head-on with a Ford Bronco SUV at 5:40 p.m.

“It's believed that the wrong-way driver got on the toll road at Highway 20 going southbound in the northbound lane," Shelton England, a senior deputy coroner with the Greenville County Coroner's Office, explained. "Two vehicles collided head on."
