Driver dies, 5 others injured in crash involving a disabled vehicle on I-85, troopers say

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said one person died and five other people were injured in a crash involving a disabled vehicle on I-85 in Greenville County.  According to troopers, the crash happened at midnight Monday in the northbound lanes near mile marker 41.

One person is dead and five others were injured in an overnight crash on Interstate 85 in Greenville. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at mile marker 41 shortly after midnight.

Kristine Strange, with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, said Isaiah De'Vonte Hubbard, 21, of Anderson, died in the crash just before midnight on I-85 north at mile marker 42, which is the I-185 exit.
