The Highway Patrol says the two motorcycles, the BMW and the Toyota were heading southbound on I-85 and the Honda was heading northbound on I-85 when the Toyota in the far right lane swerved to avoid hit the rear of slowing traffic into the middle lane and hit the BMW.
