A man was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck Wednesday night on Highway 176 near Spartanburg, South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said. Willie Kirt Smith, 69, of Spartanburg, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner.
