Motorcyclist hits deer, dies in Spartanburg Co.
Troopers said a 2008 Honda motorcycle was traveling west on Hammett Grove Road when they hit a deer, causing them to fall onto the roadway. The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as 49-year-old Alberry Sullivan Sleming Jr., of Pacolet. Officials said Fleming was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
