The young man who died was driving a pickup truck and crossed the center lane of the highway, hitting a box truck head-on, according to troopers.

According to a release from the coroner’s office, a 19-year-old man died as a result of injuries sustained in a collision in the Cleveland-Madison Community of Oconee County around 8:56 a.m. Saturday morning.
