1 injured, 3 arrested after police chase ends in crash on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, South Carolina

Police: 3 in custody after chase, crash.

Greer police said three people were taken into custody Friday afternoon following a chase and crash along Wade Hampton Boulevard. Officers began chasing a minivan just after 4:30 p.m., according to Lt. Jim Holcombe. Officers attempted to stop the van after receiving a report that people had been seen leaving a vacant house and getting into the van a short time earlier. Holcombe said a brief chase ensued but officers called of the chase about a minute later because the minivan was bobbing and weaving through traffic.
