One person has died in a two-car collision that happened near Iva in Anderson County Thursday, authorities said.
Wreck leads to Iva woman's death
Harriet Ziegler, 64, was flown from the accident scene to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where she died around 11 p.m. Thursday, Shore said.

At 3:25 p.m. Thursday, Harriet Ziegler was riding in a 1997 Toyota with her husband when apparently Doug Ziegler failed to yield to a stop sign at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Sexton Gin Road. A 2000 BMW struck the Toyota on the passenger side, and Harriet Ziegler suffered traumatic injuries to her head, chest and pelvis. She died later at a hospital. The driver of the BMW, an Anderson man, was injured and taken to the hospital. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
