Coroner: Travelers Rest man killed in crash
U.S. 25 was shut down between Roe Ford Road and the US 276 exit ramps.
According to the Greenville County Coroner, Jason Jenkins of Travelers Rest drove into the intersection onto U.S. 25 from Foot Hills Road and into the path of a tractor trailer just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Jenkins' vehicle was pushed across the road and down an embankment on the other side of the road, and Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
