SCHP: Hit-and-run driver arrested after crash on Hwy. 501 Wednesday morning

Source: Jonathan Dick HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A two-vehicle crash in Horry County has sent one person to the hospital, and the driver who fled the scene was located and arrested shortly after the accident. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center Wednesday morning and released on bond Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the Mustang, 24-year-old Robert Giovanni Todd, was located shortly after the accident and arrested by SCHP. He has been charged with hit and run, disorderly conduct, and reckless driving. South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers say the driver of the pickup truck suffered serious injuries, and the driver of the Mustang ran from the scene.
