Master Trooper William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the wreck happened at around 4 a.m. in the area of Jordanville Road, just south of Aynor. Bennett said a 2005 Chevrolet pickup was heading east on the road when it ran off to the left and struck a tree.
