Troopers: Pedestrian killed, hit by two vehicles in I-95 crash

A 2000 Kenworth tractor truck and a 2003 Toyota SUV were traveling south on the highway. Both vehicles hit the pedestrian, according to LCpl. William Bennett. The pedestrian died from their injuries, Bennett said.

Corrie Bonds of Raeford, North Carolina, was hit at about 3:30 a.m. while she was walking in the roadway, Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said.

Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified the victim as Corrie Bonds. She was walking on Interstate 95 in Darlington County when she was struck by both a 2000 Kenworth and a 2003 Toyota SUV near the 168 mile marker, said Lance Cpl. William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
