West Florence firefighters arrived on scene to find an 18-wheeler had left the interstate and hit a tree, according to Captain Anthony Fox.

The driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was identified as Antoine Dramou, 27, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, according to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken.
