The accident happened about 7:13 p.m. on Highway 90 and Barnacle Lane, according to a Facebook post from Horry County Fire Rescue. The post said that the pedestrian suffered critical injuries. It is unclear if the pedestrian was trick-or-treating when the accident occurred, according to Lance Cpl.
