Chattanooga police spokesman Kyle Miller says an overnight car wreck in the Missionary Ridge Tunnel on Brainerd Road killed the driver.
Brainerd Road accident claims driver's life
Police say the driver was unresponsive at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for examination and treatment. The driver later succumbed to his injuries, dying at the hospital.
Around 3am a vehicle hit the concrete interior of the Brainerd Road tunnel and crashed. The driver was rushed to the hospital and later died; identity not yet released.
