Montgomery County deputy hurt in head-on crash
Investigator Geoff Blanchard, who was returning home from serving a search warrant, was pinned in his vehicle. It took the Clarksville Fire Department nearly an hour to free him from the wreck. Blanchard was taken by ambulance to a Nashville hospital.Clarksville Police responded to the crash on Ashland City Road near Avondale Drive at about 8:50 p.m., according to MCSO spokesperson Sandra Brandon.
The three occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to area hospitals for their injuries.
