According to Lt. Justin Whitwell, SHPD public information officer, a man was killed while travelling north on Main Street after being struck by another vehicle travelling south that crossed the median.

According to investigators, John Walsh, 24, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, was traveling north and his car was hit by another vehicle traveling south when it crossed the median.
Two people, ages 17 and 18, were in the second car and suffered minor injuries. The car they were in overturned.
