It happened late Monday night, near Funtrackers in the 9600 block of South Padre Island Drive in Flour Bluff.
Witnesses report seeing a white four-door sedan driving recklessly through a convenience store parking lot. That's when the car sped out of the lot, striking a pedestrian who was walking in the crosswalk.
