One person is dead following a car wreck in downtown El Paso. According to the El Paso Police Department, the deadly wreck happened at Cotton and Missouri.

Fire Department dispatchers told KTSM that two people were transported to the hospital -- one with critical injuries and the other with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. Police later confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash.
