Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash in east Harris County early Friday morning.

Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash in east Harris County early Friday morning.

Deputies said the men were in a Nissan Pathfinder headed eastbound on East Cedar Bayou Lynchburg Road around 1:15 a.m. when the SUV hit some railroad tracks and skidded sideways into a ditch on the right shoulder of the road.

The SUV flipped up the side of the ditch and into a driveway, according to deputies.

The two men inside died at the scene.

Deputies said they were in their late teens to early 20s.

Deputies said speed was a factor, but they will have to wait until toxicology tests are performed to determine if the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
