Within minutes, two fatally struck on Houston roads
Police said the woman was not walking in a marked pedestrian crosswalk and failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a white Ford Expedition. She died at the scene.
HPD: Woman crossing street hit and killed by SUV
According to police, a woman was crossing the street in the 8600 block of Neff at Pyron when she was struck by an SUV. Police say the victim was not using the crosswalk at the time.
The woman was not walking on a marked cross-walk and failed to yield the right-of-way to the driver. The driver was released without charges.
