One dead in NW Houston crash

HOUSTON – Authorities are investigating a crash that left one man dead overnight in northwest Houston. A man was driving a Dodge Charger eastbound on North Sam Houston Parkway just before 3 a.m. Authorities are investigating whether alcohol was involved or a medical emergency might have played a role in the crash. Police say the man was partially ejected from the car, and the vehicle rolled onto him. Saturday and was taking the exit ramp toward I-45 southbound and lost control for unknown reasons, hitting a guardrail and flipping over.
