Son of couple killed in hit-and-run accident says parents were headed to Christmas service

The couple were on their way to Christmas Eve service Friday evening. Police say they were at a stop sign on Neff attempting to turn onto South Gessner when a speeding pickup truck broadsided their car killing them at the scene.

Man charged in southwest Houston hit-and-run that killed woman and driver, court records say

Court records say 20-year-old Alessio Bevinetto was arrested and charged for allegedly fleeing the scene of the crash. Bevinetto was charged with two counts of failing to render aid deaths at the scene in the 7100 block of South Gessner near Neff.
