Driver died in a crash with a utility pole on the Gulf Freeway in Houston, Texas

A silver Buick LaCrosse was traveling on the Gulf Freeway service road at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and struck a utility pole in front of a shopping center at the above address. The impact caused the Lacrosse to wrap around the pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
